Exosomes- Skin and hair rejuvenation

Writer: Chen EvaChen Eva

What are exosomes?

Exosomes are tiny vesicles that are secreted by cells and are known to play a crucial role in cell-to-cell communication.

In recent years, exosomes have been explored as a potential treatment for a variety of skin conditions, including aging, sun damage, and acne.

One of the main benefits of using exosomes in skin care is their ability to transfer beneficial molecules, such as stem cell released molecules and proteins, to the cells that need them. The exosomes act as the carrier so the molecules can be delivered to damaged cells more efficiently. This can help to repair and rejuvenate the skin, leading to a more youthful and radiant appearance.

Benefits of exosomes:

Exosomes have also been shown to be effective in promoting collagen production and reducing inflammation. This can help improve the texture and tone of the skin, as well as, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Another key benefit of exosomes is their ability to penetrate deep into the skin, making them an ideal treatment for conditions that affect the deeper layers of the skin. This includes sun damage, acne, and hyperpigmentation.

Exosomes can be used in a variety of skin care products, including creams, serums, and masks. They can also be delivered to the skin via different modalities, or skin care treatments, like microneedling, which involves making small punctures in the skin to promote the penetration of the exosomes. Microneedling, when used in conjunction with skin care products that contain exosomes, can provide added benefits to the skin.

What is Exomide™?

We choose Exomide™ in the clinic. Exomide™ is an innovative topical exosome treatment from South Korea for use on the skin and hair. Containing exosomes, which are nano-sized vesicles rich in lipids, proteins, and RNAs, Exomide™ can stimulate the regeneration of cells to enhance collagen and elastin production, improve skin quality and texture, as well as to increase hair growth.

How does Exomide™ work?

Exomide™ Skin and Exomide™ Hair are regenerative standalone treatment options, which can also be used in combination with other treatments such as skin needling, RF needling, laser treatments and LED light therapy.

The serum-like liquid is applied topically to the treated areas with the benefits lasting up to 6-8 months. For optimal results multiple sessions of Exomide™ are recommended.
