RF Microneedling
What is RF microneedling ?
RF microneedling aka fractional radiofrequency microneedling is a major advancement on microneedling.
Like microneedling, it treats ageing and textural concerns, but it can treat deeper scarring, some skin sagging and more stubborn textural concerns because it can safely reach deeper layers of the skin. It uses a gentle stamping technique which further reduces any risks of microtears.
When needles entered the skin, radiofrequency energy is released at the same time which creates controlled heat in the deeper tissues of the skin to give your collagen an additional boost. Radiofrequency is often using in skin tightening treatments, also known as non-surgical facelifts.

What to expect ?
A thorough consultation is necessary prior to RF microneedling. For your comfort during the treatment, a topical anaesthetic cream over is applied to the area to be treated for approximately 20 minutes. During the procedure the device hand piece is passed over the skin. The fine needles penetrate the skin and the RF energy is delivered once the needles reach the desired depth. The procedure takes approximately 30 minutes to complete followed by recovery mask and LED light therapy. Immediately following treatment your skin will feel warm but will not be painful. Over the following days there will be mild redness and swelling. Bruising is uncommon. Specific aftercare instructions will be given to you at the time of your procedure. Downtime is very minimal and you can resume to your normal routine right away. Mineral makeup can be applied the following day.
